While our classic USA Bullseye gun box with its 8" of vertical clearance meets the requirements of most shooters utilizing handguns with tubular optics, we were still receiving inquiries from shooters requiring additional clearance. Rather than continuing to manufacture custom gun boxes to meet such requests, we are now offering our Tallboy gun box which has a whopping 9" of vertical space from the surface of the gun tray to the underside of the top of the gun box.
If you are using thick platform based hand conforming custom grips in conjunction with a large rail mounted optic on your handguns, the Tallboy may be just what you need.
This gun box has all the features of of our classic USA Bullseye box as outlined on our web site. In our latest upgrade, we have added slots in the base of the gun block which secures your handguns into the tray of the gun box. This allows you to easily move the position of the gun block within the tray to any location you may require for your specific application. This feature will immediately benefit those with large revolvers or those who have Pardini or Hammerli target pistols where the magazine well is in front of the trigger guard.
Your new USA Tallboy will also include our excellent compact spotting scope with 10 - 60X magnification complete with a factory mounted height adjustable bracket.
There is also lots of pass through storage for your eyes and ears, ammunition, range accessories and tools.
All gun boxes include a "hold open clamp" which securely holds the flip up front of your gun box in place if you are outdoors shooting on a windy day.
